
This virtual panel will feature notable metaverse and fashion experts discussing digital self-expression, fashion and beauty trends based on research conducted by Roblox for its upcoming 2023 trend report. Experts will share their thoughts and personal experiences related to self-expression through digital identity and fashion, and why it is so meaningful for Gen Z consumers today. They’ll also touch on what this means for brands, designers and creators – both in online communities and in the fashion industry at large – that are trying to understand new immersive platforms and how people connect and express themselves today. Experts will also share predictions on what’s yet to come in digital self-expression and fashion.

Christina Wootton serves as Chief Partnerships Officer at Roblox, leading brand partnerships, business development and education. Christina’s teams are focused on creating new ecosystems for people to express themselves through digital fashion and beauty, learn together, and experience entertainment, music and sports with their favorite brands and talent on the platform.
With more than 15 years of partnerships and digital advertising experience, Christina has been instrumental in revolutionizing how brands connect, engage and communicate with people all over the world in immersive spaces. She has spearheaded innovation and creative partnerships with Fortune 500 companies and top brands and talent including Gucci, Nike, Netflix, Disney, Warner Bros, NFL, Karlie Kloss, Elton John, among many others. Prior to Roblox, Christina led entertainment innovation and digital advertising at Stardoll Media partnering with brands to create engaging content that allowed users to customize their avatars, shop for digital fashion items and interact with the brands’ virtual characters and products.
Micael Barilaro is VP Metaverse Ventures at Gucci. In this role he is responsible to further scale the House activities within the fast-developing Metaverse and gaming environments. Barilaro joined Gucci in 2010 and has since then held roles of increasing responsibilities in different departments, up to directing the New Businesses Gaming & Collectibles team, helping to shape the brand’s approach to collectibles, augmented reality, gaming, and digital entertainment. Team’s motto? GG, Good Game – of course. Before joining Gucci, Barilaro had previous work experiences at different international advertising agencies, often advocating – as digital evangelist – for the digital transformation of traditional marketing and communication strategies.
Rush Bogin is a seasoned digital fashion designer who has collaborated with well-known brands and celebrities including Karlie Kloss, Elton John, Olivia Rodrigo. Rush started designing clothing, hairstyles and accessories for Roblox avatars when he was just 14 — his creations now have more than 46 million individual sales. Rush currently owns his own virtual fashion design and consulting firm, Rush X. A freshman at Stanford University, Rush is studying design in pursuit of his goal to bridge the gap between digital and physical fashion, bringing his Roblox fashion creations to the real world and vice versa. While still in high school, Rush created a scholarship for students studying fields in the arts in college. He has also raised over $100,000 for No Kid Hungry through the sales of one of his Roblox accessories.
Alice Delahunt is an industry leader in Digital, Brand Strategy, Marketing and Web3. She’s the founder and CEO of SYKY, a luxury fashion platform that was honored as one of the World Economic Forum's "Technology Pioneers'' in 2023. A luxury fashion expert, she began her career at Burberry as Global Director of Digital & Social, and then transitioned to Chief Digital & Content Officer at Ralph Lauren. Alice is a Non-Executive Board Member of Soho House and a former Retail & Creative Council Advisory Member at Google and Snapchat. She currently serves as a Board Advisor at the Trinity College Business School from where she holds a degree in Business and Political Science. Alice's pioneering work earned her recognition as a Vogue Business 100 Technology & Web3 Innovator, cementing her status as a visionary leader.
Maghan McDowell is the Senior Innovation Editor at Vogue Business, where she leads its coverage of technology and innovation, and advises Condé Nast's Web3 team. She is the author of the weekly Technology Edit newsletter and has become a leading expert on fashion’s role and opportunity in the metaverse. Before joining Condé Nast, McDowell reported for publications including W, Marie Claire, San Francisco Chronicle and Business of Fashion, and was the first technology reporter for WWD.
A firm believer that the creative industries are essential to thriving economies and their influence and soft power should be used to influence positive change. During her tenure, she has continued to focus on innovation and the role that independent businesses play in driving positive change. Recognised with strengthening London Fashion Week as the global creative capital, pushing boundaries in both design and new business models. Establishing the Fashion Awards as the global Awards ceremony for design and luxury. Through this, the BFC have growth their influence of digital fashion, from the first ever Fashion Award for Metaverse Design exclusively with Roblox and its first winner, CSAPPHIRE, to the Metaverse World award which went to Burberry in 2022 and their partnership with SYKY in 2023. Caroline Rush is also Chair of the Creative Industries Trade and Investment Board and Co-Chair of the UK’s Circular Fashion Innovation Network.
